Courier services mean transporting important documents like letter heads, bills, payment receipt etc. and goods or cargoes like electronic items, bulk equipments using the services of a person or a firm either directly or indirectly to carry such documents, goods or cargoes and hand deliver them and provide hand to hand delivery.

These firms do not provide same day or intra day delivery. They concentrate more on national and international delivery rather than local, there upon giving a chance to small firms to thrive in these business.These small firms provide delivery in and around city limits and only few of them operate at national level. These firms normally use bicycle or motor bikes for delivery within the city as they have to deliver the parcel the same day and moreover traveling by bike also avoids traffic which helps in accurate delivery.In short courier companies are growing by leaps and bounds and are also considered as an aid to modern business.
